Built for Africa
Africa's markets are many. We build for each.
Financial-services software designed for how each of Africa's markets works, from our base in East Africa, with teams on the ground in Kenya and Tanzania.

Why now
The money went digital. The systems behind it are next.
Africa's financial sector is going digital. Customers pay and save from a phone, and the institutions leading that change are rebuilding how they work with each other.
They need systems built for how their markets actually run: their own regulators, their own partners, their own customers. Software designed for another market meets each of those as an exception. We start from them.
Our base
East Africa is home.
Lybica is based in East Africa, in Kenya and Tanzania, with teams on the ground.
We work in the same markets as the institutions we build for. A shared record is designed across the table from the people who will run it: the officer who approves, the partner who integrates, the agency whose data it touches.
The range
The wildcat ranges across the continent. So do we.
Home is East Africa. The horizon is the continent: wider African markets follow the institutions we work with.
A shared record is built to each market's rules, so the next market brings new rules, not a new system.
Local by design
Built with the market, not imported into it.
Operating environments
How work moves between branch, head office and partner today is where the design starts.
Customer needs
A customer reaches the service from a phone; an officer works it from a single screen.
Institutional requirements
Each institution's policies and authorities are written into the record's rules, and each acts only within its own.
Local knowledge sets the requirements. UK experience sets the discipline.
